Product Overview: PV:1525 Handheld 1500 V 25 A PV Tester
The PV:1525 is a professional handheld test instrument designed for installers and maintenance technicians. It performs comprehensive electrical safety tests and performance measurements on photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 1500 V DC and 25 A DC, making it ideal for both residential and commercial installations.
Key Measurement Functions:
Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) Measurement: For PV strings up to 1500 V DC.
Short Circuit Current (Isc) Measurement: For PV strings up to 25 A DC.
Insulation Resistance Testing: At test voltages of 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V, and 1500 V DC.
Protective Conductor Continuity Testing: With a test current >200 mA at 2 Ω.
Operating Current & Power Measurement: (When used wirelessly with the optional PV:1500 Clamp) Current from 0.1 A to 400.0 A DC, power from 0.50 kW to 600 kW.

Scope of Delivery (PV:1525 Complete Set - Order No. 601A910):
The PV:1525 Complete Set includes the PV:1525 tester, a set of 4mm test probes (red, yellow, black) with crocodile clips, device-to-MC4 test cables (yellow, black), a rechargeable battery, charging cradle, quick start guide, calibration certificate, declarations, and a carrying case. It also bundles the PV:1500 Clamp (for wireless current measurement) and the SS:200LR Wireless Irradiance Meter (with temperature sensor).
