Ultrasound wattmeter for power measurement at ultrasound systems

The SECULIFE UP ultrasound power meter was designed for testing diagnostic and therapeutic transducers.

Ultrasound wattmeters have been in use around the world since 1977 and serve as a recognized standard for the documentation of power output from medical transductors.

The compact, lightweight instrument fulfills all of the requirements of a portable test instrument with the reliability and the time-tested performance of the SECULIFE series.

The SECULIFE UP is equipped with a test tank which is 5" in diameter and 3½" high. The most reliable and reproducible method for measuring ultrasonic power is the acoustic radiation force process. The transducer under test is centered above a 45° cone target with air bearing in degasified water. Coupling is established to a precision scale with a resolution of ±0.15 W.
